Quality Assurance + Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, implement, maintain, and execute test scenarios, test plans, and test cases/scripts, using test methodologies that ensure comprehensive testing of YinzCam products against established acceptance criteria
  • Must remain up to date on all products/services and must be familiar with the features and capabilities of all products
  • Ensure proper implementation of client needs are met by the developers across Android, iOS and Windows platforms
  • Be an integral part of the release cycle for each product
  • Document and communicate product defects to development team and/or client account managers
  • Work with different groups within the company to make sure that clients’ needs are met in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Software testing is preferred (a business degree with a computer related minor is acceptable as an alternative)
  • Strong experience with bug tracking tools and best practices around logging and tracking bugs
  • Experience with ticketing management systems
  • Basic familiarity with iOS and Android development
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure,fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Ability and desire to dig into complex problems and ask probing questions
  • Quick learner, deep thinker, excellent problem solver, and a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks
  • Experience and drive to implement automated testing across multiple platforms
  • Experience testing both mobile and Web-based software ideal
